emotionally healthy living

Getting stuck never feels good. Often we might not realize why we continue to feel or respond in ways that seem to always get the same results. And regardless of our education or skills, our emotions are powerful indicators of our health.

At Washington Community Fellowship, we believe that the living God cares deeply for our whole being. Our physical, relational, emotional and spiritual needs are surprisingly more intertwined than we expect.

We invite you to join us on a journey towards an emotionally healthy life through our new sermon series beginning May 5. The series will draw from scripture, social science and contemplative practices to find healing.

Can’t make it in person? Join us online at wcfchurch.org or subscribe to the Washington Community Fellowship podcasts on the apple and google play stores.

As part of our Emotionally Healthy Living message series, we heard about the power of looking at how our families shape us . Genograms can be one way to recognize patterns of emotional and relational health in our families so we can move forward to health in Christ. Use this document to put together a genogram for yourself.  If you want further resources on completing a genogram, check out this video.
