  • new sermon series

Beginning September 8 we will explore a new sermon series titled “Living Right-side up in an upside-down world” from the book of Daniel.  With oft-celebrated rewards of viral headlines, social media likes and maximum share-holder returns. What does it look like to live right-side up in a world that seems really upside-down in what are measures of success? In this message series, we look at the example of Daniel in how to live an engaged life of leadership, character and integrity when the odds and values seem stacked against you.

  • Survival Guide for the soul

    with ken shigematsu

On September 29, Senior Pastor of Tenth Church in Vancouver, Ken Shigematsu, will be sharing a message with us from his award-winning bestseller Survival Guide for the Soul. Ken will explore how we can pursue a life of achievement, not out of an anxious need to validate ourselves, but out of a deep sense of gratitude from knowing we are already accepted by God. He will introduce three spiritual practices: meditation, gratitude, and Sabbath that help us live from a place of our belovedness.

  • Catalyst group

We want to let you know of an exciting upcoming opportunity to get to know each other better and delve deeply into spiritual questions. We are planning to organize all interested parties into small groups to meet weekly during the fall to have in depth discussions of material which will be provided to you. We would like to make it convenient to meet and so are planning to organize these groups of people who live and/ore work close to one another, or can meet each other along their commute to work. In preparation for this, we are asking that people engage in a fun project that will allow us to create a map to see where we live and work in the DC metro area. Please click here to participate.

  • 2019 Church retreat

Registration is now open for our annual church retreat taking place October 26-27, 2019. Relax and enjoy community in a beautiful setting with some friends new and old. Click here for retreat details and to register before September 25.

  • justice tour capitol hill

Want to better understand the history of the places we live, work, and/or attend church? We are planning a Justice Tour of Capitol Hill: looking at major DC sites through a social justice lens. Learn more here.
