Want to better understand the history of the places we live, work, and/or attend church? We are planning a Justice Tour of Capitol Hill: looking at major DC sites through a social justice lens, which begins at Union station looking at Christopher Columbus/history of first Nations DC, the National Mall and historic protest site, old slave market site, to the Capitol/Supreme Court/Library of Congress area. This begins at Union Station and ends near the Supreme Court Building. This 2-2.5 hour tour will be after church on September 29. Childcare will be provided. A light lunch will be provided at church before we head over to Union Station for the tour. All this will be provided for a nominal fee of $10 per person. Register here.
