We are pleased to announce the hiring of Daisha Miller as our new part-time Coordinator for Children's Ministry! While Daisha continues in her current position as Director of Domestic Violence and Supportive Housing for a non-profit, we are grateful for the many gifts and years of experience that Daisha will bring to WCF having served as the Children and Families Director for her previous church in California.
Daisha and her family moved from California to the DMV region in 2021. She and her husband, Landon, met in college at Alabama A&M University, where she received her BA in social work. Daisha was recently licensed as a minister and is completing her Masters in Counseling. A few things that Daisha loves are: the arts, reading, cooking, playing spades, and encouraging others to discover and walk in their God-given purpose. She is also passionate about serving families, the homeless, and those impacted by domestic violence. Landon and Daisha have four children: Nolan (6), Nalah (3), Nia (1), and Nevin (9 months).
Let’s extend a warm WCF welcome to Daisha and her family on her first Sunday with us on April 3!
