Guest Speaker — Rev. Angelia Garner

Reverend Angelia Garner, affectionately known as “Reverend Esquire,” uniquely carries the mantle of both preacher and lawyer. Born and reared in Washington, DC, she accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at the age of 12. An honors graduate of both McKinley High School and Howard University, Reverend Garner earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. Additionally, believing that God requires excellence in kingdom work, she earned a Master of Theological Studies from Bethel Seminary. She is currently a doctoral candidate at United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio.

In addition to actively practicing law, Angelia serves as an Associate Pastor at First Baptist Church of Glenarden.
