Friends,
This morning, I had the privilege of gathering with pastors in the city for a time of fellowship and acapella worship under a big outdoor tent. What a gift it was to be in the presence of God together with sisters and brothers in Christ! The joy of a room (or tent, in the case) full of voices belting out songs like “Blessed Assurance, Jesus is Mine” and “God I Look to You” was palpable. We have indeed missed a lot over these past fifteen months of pandemic life. Fortunately, what we have missed does not define what it means to be Christ’s gathered body. It’s our relationships and God’s gracious work amongst us that make our life together such a treasure. Yet, many of us do look forward to meeting in-person once again.
This Sunday marks the first Sunday since March 2020 where we will be able to worship in-person together. We are so excited to gather with those who have registered to attend, while we continue to broadcast the service to those joining us over the livestream at wcfchurch.org/live.
Don’t worry. You can register and check-in upon arrival (as well as give and view the church directory) through the WCF’s Church Center app. If you don’t already have the Church Center app on your mobile device, download it here: https://churchcenter.com/
What to expect when you arrive:

I look forward to worshipping together you in-person and online this Sunday. We continue our Third Way sermon series looking at “Foundations for Talking about Gender and Sexuality.” As an advisory to parents of young children, this will be the final week that adult-themed content will be in the sermon.
Peace and blessings,
Pastor Andrew
