New Addition to Our Building

This is the theme verse of Children's Nurture at WCF. We share God’s love and stories with our Acorns, Sprouts, Saplings, Oaks, Sequoias, and Youth so they might be strong, nurtured trees along God’s river of living water. I’m excited to share with you about a new addition to the WCF building that greets our children as they go up to their classes: this tree mural in the annex stairwell.

This mural was designed and painted by the magnificent Katie Keister. She worked many hours to beautify our stairwell and had the extra special idea of having WCF children design the leaves. When you pass by the mural, you’ll notice initials on the leaves marking who designed each leaf. These colors are a reminder of the beauty of God’s creativity in designing each of us
