The season of Advent marks the four weeks leading up to Christmas. We join with the Christian church through the ages in remembering the first arrival of God in God’s son, Jesus Christ, and anticipate the future arrival of Jesus. It’s a season to acknowledge all the areas of life where life isn’t quite as it should be. Yet, because in God’s love, Jesus put on flesh to dwell among us and give us true hope and peace.
Our 2022 Advent series is entitled “Are We There Yet?” Each Sunday, we will light an Advent candle during the service and have the opportunity to reflect further in community with available small group resources.
